New Delhi: This time the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi will celebrate Chhath Mahaparv on a large scale. 1100 Ghats will be built in Delhi with all facilities. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has given this information.

Arvind Kejriwal said in the digital press briefing that October 30 and 31 is the festival of Chhath and together we will seek blessings from Chhathi Maiya and worship the Sun God. Please tell that due to Corona, Chhath Puja was not celebrated publicly for the last 2 years. On this, Kejriwal said that ever since our government was formed, we have been running the process of celebrating this festival in a grand manner. Earlier in Delhi, Chhath Puja was done on a very small scale.

In 2014, the Delhi government used to organize Chhath Puja at 69 places and spend Rs 2.5 crore. But this time Chhath Puja will be celebrated at 1100 places and Rs 25 crore is being spent. This time a lot of preparations have been made to celebrate Chhath Puja on a large scale because people were locked in the house for 2 years and Chhath Puja was not being celebrated on a large scale.

Kejriwal said that Delhi Police will extend full cooperation to ensure security and CCTV cameras will be installed at various places. The tent sound system, chair table and LED screen will be arranged like every year. Although there is 24 hours electricity in Delhi, if there is a power cut somewhere, then arrangements were made for power backup. Arrangements for drinking water and toilets, ambulances and first aid have also been made so that if someone falls ill, he can be handled.
