New Delhi: As per the instructions of the Central Government, CBSE, CISCE and other state boards will declare the board results by July 31, so that 12th pass students can take admission in the college without losing a year. Universities have thus geared up for graduation (UG) admissions. The latest updates on UG admissions in some Delhi based universities are available on their website. As per the reports, DU Admission 2021 will start in the third week of July. PG courses and courses based on entrance exams will first start their registration process.

Registration in two phases

UG admissions are mostly on the basis of merit list. The registration for these is likely to start in the third week of July. DU admissions president Rajeev Gupta said, “We can start the registration process (for admissions) by the third week of July.” There is a possibility that we may start the registration process for nine entrance based courses and postgraduate courses in the first phase and then start the registration process for merit-based courses. There shall not be a gap of more than a week or 10 days between the two phases, he added.
