Vande Bharat train gift to MP, PM Modi said - 'Opposition has been trying to tarnish my image'

PM Narendra Modi said that the journey between Bhopal-Delhi will be faster with Vande Bharat Express. This train will bring new facilities for professionals, youth and businessmen.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gifted Vande Bharat train to Madhya Pradesh. The Prime Minister flagged off the Vande Bharat train from Bhopal to Delhi on Saturday. Addressing the program, PM Narendra Modi said that the journey between Bhopal-Delhi will be faster with Vande Bharat Express. This train will bring new facilities for professionals, youth and businessmen.


PM Modi said that it would have happened very rarely in the history of Railways that a Prime Minister would have come again to the same station in such a short interval. You all gave me the privilege of inaugurating the modern and grand Rani Kamalapit station where this event is being held. The PM said that today I have been allowed to flag off India's most modern Vande Bharat train for Delhi from here.


Modi's taunt on Congress

Prime Minister Modi, while addressing the program, taunted the Congress. The PM said that on this program of April 1, our Congress friends will state that Modi is making 'April Fool'. But you see, this train started on April 1 itself. It is a symbol of our skill, capability and our confidence.


PM Modi thundered on previous governments

Attacking the previous governments, Prime Minister Modi said, 'After independence, they got a ready-made railway network. If the governments of that time wanted, they could have modernized the railways very fast, but the development of the railways itself was sacrificed for the sake of political interest. Modi said when you allowed me to serve in 2014, I decided that this will not happen now, the railways will be rejuvenated. The Prime Minister said that in the last 9 years, it has been our constant effort to make Indian Railways the best rail network in the world. During this, the PM also accused the opposition of tarnishing his image.


PM expressed grief over the Indore accident

In his opening speech of the programme, the Prime Minister expressed grief over the incident while referring to the incident in Indore. PM Modi said that I express my grief towards the incident that happened on Ram Navami in Indore temple. I pay tribute to those who left us untimely in this accident and express my condolences to their families. The Prime Minister also wished for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.
