Violence and arson in Bihar's Sasaram after ruckus in West Bengal, Internet service stopped

West Bengal: The ruckus that started on the day of Ram Navami in Howrah continues for the second day as well. The stone pelting which started on Thursday is continuing on Friday as well.

Violent clashes took place in the Howrah and North Dinajpur districts of West Bengal during the procession of Ram Navami on Thursday. Violence also broke out at Shibpur in Howrah and Dalkhola in Islampur town in North Dinajpur district, which continued for the second day. There was fierce stone pelting between two groups in Shibpur, Howrah, the video of which is also going viral, it can be seen in these videos that some people are throwing stones at the procession from the roofs of the houses. After this, the crowd involved in the procession also threw stones at those people.

The mob also set fire to nearby vehicles and shops. Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Banjarg Dal had taken out a procession in Shibpur, in which there was a lot of ruckuses. Amidst reports of violence in West Bengal's Howrah, Union Minister Amit Shah called up West Bengal BJP President Sukant Majumdar and inquired about the law and order situation in West Bengal.

Police have to struggle a lot to control the situation

Amidst the uncontrollable situation on Friday afternoon, the police have not yet used force. This incident is happening just 100 meters away from the police station. There are reports of stone pelting from rooftops in Howrah. The situation is still the same, there is no change in it. While the big officers and forces of the police department are stationed there. People around are scared. On the other hand, Ugra is advising the crowd to go back to their homes, but on the contrary, the crowd is asking the police to go. According to the India TV correspondent, the media has also been attacked by the mob.

The situation became uncontrollable after Friday prayers

Police is taking time to control this whole situation. Today is the time of the day, Friday prayers were held in Ramzan. Since then the situation got out of control.

News of violence and arson in Sasaram, Section 144 imposed

After Bengal, there is also news of violence and arson in Sasaram of Bihar. There is news of stone pelting after a quarrel in Sasaram. Section 144 has been imposed in the clash area. According to the information, there was an incident of stone pelting and then arson between the two parties in Sasaram. Stones were thrown between the two sides. Meanwhile, heavy police force has been deployed there. It is being told that there was a dispute in Sasaram during the procession.

After this today, after violence and arson in one area, hut-like shops were set on fire. In Sasaram, miscreants have also pelted stones at the police. Internet service has been completely stopped in Sasaram till further orders.

Stone pelting happened under conspiracy in Vadodara: Police

Before Bengal and Bihar, on Ram Navami, there was stone pelting again on Thursday in Vadodara, Gujarat on the occasion of Ram Navami. Miscreants pelted stones at Kumbharwada in Vadodara. Even before Kumbharwada, stone-pelting was witnessed during the Ram Navami procession in Vadodara. In the case of stone pelting, police have detained more than 10 people so far by combing. Meanwhile, according to the Vadodara police, stones were pelted on the Ram Navami yatra that started from Kumbharwada as part of a conspiracy. Section 120B of IPC was also invoked in the FIR.
