There was fierce stone pelting between two groups in Shibpur, Howrah, the video of which is also going viral, it can be seen in these videos that some people are throwing stones at the procession from the roofs of the houses. After this, the crowd involved in the procession also threw stones at those people.
The mob also set fire to nearby vehicles and shops. Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Banjarg Dal had taken out a procession in Shibpur, in which there was a lot of ruckuses. Amidst reports of violence in West Bengal's Howrah, Union Minister Amit Shah called up West Bengal BJP President Sukant Majumdar and inquired about the law and order situation in West Bengal.
Police have to struggle a lot to control the situation

Stone pelting happened under conspiracy in Vadodara: Police
Before Bengal and Bihar, on Ram Navami, there was stone pelting again on Thursday in Vadodara, Gujarat on the occasion of Ram Navami. Miscreants pelted stones at Kumbharwada in Vadodara. Even before Kumbharwada, stone-pelting was witnessed during the Ram Navami procession in Vadodara. In the case of stone pelting, police have detained more than 10 people so far by combing. Meanwhile, according to the Vadodara police, stones were pelted on the Ram Navami yatra that started from Kumbharwada as part of a conspiracy. Section 120B of IPC was also invoked in the FIR.
