Woman jumps in front of Janakpuri West metro station, Jawan saves her life

The injured woman has been admitted to Chanan Devi Hospital where she is undergoing treatment.



New Delhi: A woman jumped in front of a moving metro train at Delhi's Janakpuri West Metro station. According to the information, this incident happened on Tuesday, when a woman was waiting for the arrival of the metro, but when the metro train was reaching the station, the woman jumped in front of the metro station.


After which the train operator immediately applied the emergency brake. Soon after the incident, CISF personnel reached the spot and tried to save the woman. The woman's clothes were torn due to which the jawan took off his shirt and covered the woman's body.


After the incident, the injured woman has been admitted to Chanan Devi Hospital where she is undergoing treatment. When the CISF jawan rescued the woman from the tracks and brought her back on the platform, the woman's body was not covered with clothes and they were torn, after which CISF constable Naba Kishore Nayak took off his shirt and covered the woman's body. People are praising this work of the jawan.
